Dr. Kate Hardin grew up in Pennsylvania but her desire to become a veterinarian brought her down south after graduating from high school. She attended Mississippi State University as part of their Early Entry Veterinary Program and received a B.S. in biology in 2007 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2010.

She then moved to Atlanta, Ga where she practiced small animal medicine until her husband’s job moved them to the beautiful Emerald Coast in 2015. Dr. Hardin and her husband have been married since 2007 and have 2 little boys.

In her free time Kate enjoys reading, running, going to the beach, and watching sports, especially Major League Baseball (Go Braves!) and College Football (Go Bulldogs!). She also is active in her church and volunteers with the high school youth group.
